Korean Chiwoo Cheonwang Medals

KOMSCO–a South Korean manufacturer of precious metal bullion, currency, and securities–brings you a series of silver and gold tiger medallions featuring Chiwoo Cheonwang. This legendary warrior, also called the “God of War,” achieved battle victories of mythic proportions. Each new medallion in this series, which began in 2016, features a new design capturing Chiwoo.

In addition to Chiwoo, this medallion features a design of a roof tile depicting a supernatural created known as “do ggae bi.” This creature is believed to protect people from evil spirits.

KOMSCO uses an anti-counterfeiting device on these medallions as a method of authentication. The Chiwoo series will include a variety of weights in both silver and gold, plus a new design with each release.
