Korean Tiger Medals

KOMSCO–a South Korean manufacturer of precious metal bullion, currency, and securities–has introduced a new series of silver and gold tiger medallions. Produced in limited mintages, these medallions capture the large feline in stunning detail.

Additionally, the reverse showcases an artistic rendering of the Korean map using strategically positioned letters from the Korean alphabet. KOMSCO uses an anti-counterfeiting device on these medallions as a method of authentication.

The new Tiger series began in 2018, with plans to introduce a variety of weights in both silver and gold, plus additional designs.
