Though they are uncommon today, $2 Bills are legal tender. It was first introduced in 1892 in what is now known as the Large Size Note. Several iterations were offered until the introduction of the Small Size Note in 1929. These bills were offered until 1966, when the Two-Dollar Bill was discontinued.

The bill made a comeback ten years later, but is the lowest circulating bill, with fewer than 1 percent of all banknotes. It remains a popular curiosity.
