The beautiful lady on Charles E. Barber’s iconic quarter has turned, joining the hordes of undead. Once a symbol of freedom and opportunity, her rancid flesh symbolizes impending decay.
On the obverse of each 1 oz round, Liberty cries bloody tears, her eye impaled with scissors, an attack that wounded but failed to kill the undead goddess. Her skin rots under the sun’s swelter, and the tattered ribbons of her triumphal cap shred in the breeze.
Thirteen six-pointed stars dance around the rim, which reads THE BARBER and 2018. The inscription Z50 indicates the round’s value when zombies walk the earth.
Daily routines have grown treacherous for humanity, as the biohazard symbol warns on the reverse of each round. The words CURRENCY OF THE APOCALYPSE, ZOMBUCKS and 1 oz .999 FINE SILVER are inscribed with the Provident Metals compass. Only those who have plotted a course for survival will make it through this horror.
The 2018 The Barber silver round is the fourth in the Zombucks series from the Provident Mint. The more fresh-faced Barber round shuffles in after the Walker, Morgue Anne, and Zombuff, as the rising tide of undead seeks to consume us all. Six more designs remain.
The original Barber quarter was circulated from 1892 to 1912: it is fitting that now, at the end of humanity, we look back to better days.

Thanks to Zombucks I'm collecting coins again I got the Barber and proofs of the other three, then I tracked down the other coins on the net and picked those up. Looks like I'll be picking up at least one silver and one copper, as well as the silver proof set of each. Great concept and well executed too, beautiful coins that appeal to the darker sense of humor and parody I can definitely appreciate. I only started investing in silver when the buffalo came, which is beautiful and the barber one is just as great. Definitely a great gift idea. It always draws attention and humor when I show it to friends. A great collectors piece!"

5 star on the Barber all the way. Great looking round. I liked is so much I bought a real Barber half dollar to just have to go along with it. Next to Morgue Ann the Barber comes in a very close second. Very nicely struck great detail. Only complaint is it makes my eye hurt seeing the clippers. Every one I have showed it to was as impressed as I am with it. Can’t wait for the next installment of the Zombucks. I have all four and really like the whole concept; Plus I think if you get the whole set it will double it’s value. Making it I think a great investment. Not that I will sale any of them. They will be passed on to my grandchildren. I have found Provident Metals not only a great place to purchase silver for investment and collecting but always receive my orders very quickly. The zombie coins are all pretty cool looking, I think the silver looks like lots higher
quality than the copper, but that’s probably just the color. Will buy the whole series, this one just looks like they ran out of what to do, looking forward to see if the rest are better!

I’m not a silver or coin collector! My dad and brothers are though. One brother showed me these coins and, being a “Walking Dead” fan, I HAD to buy this. It’s soooo cool! I love it AND it’s real silver. It’s actually a perfect gift to give someone too.
