"
As mentioned in a previous review, the informational stamp is difficult to see (let alone read). The textured surface is a great way to hide fingerprints from handling. These items are a great way to demonstrate density of various materials. A copper version would be great but a 2" Silver version would cost over $470 at current market prices. Not something I would want to display considering how it easily fits inside a visitors pocket. Other manufacturers offer a Tungsten sphere which is on my wishlist. I am hoping that someday a Beryllium version will be available but that may be wishful thinking. At slightly over 2/3 the density of Aluminum, it has been at the top of my wishlist for years."

"
I bought all three varieties of the 2" exotic metal spheres available at the time.
These little guys feel GREAT in hand. They carry a beautifully textured finish and because they are sold based on size, (2"), and not weight, they all have a different heft. Along with a different shade for each metal-they range from pitch black to smoky gray to graphite gray. These differences make these babies so appealing, as variety is the name of the game in the world of collecting. Although the stamps showing the periodic table properties of each sphere are not as pronounced as the pictures show them to be, they're all fine and distinct enough to display for company to see, especially when at first glance they look like smaller cannon balls. My only wish is that silver and copper spheres will be made available. I can't see how they aren't offered alongside these exotic metals spheres. What a sight that would be when lined up in display shelf!" |

"
this is slightly smaller than a billiard size ball, just fyi, & the inscription isn't as pronounced as the picture shows, but this is a cool piece to own & display. I'd buy another if it went on sale."
