Purchased two of these bars based solely on the design, which I love. I dig the scientific imagery on the bar vs the typical jingoistic faux patriotism displayed on many bars. If I purchase silver, I want silver. I don't need a serial number or something presuming numismatic value. There are some nicks and blemishes, if this bothers you, spend a premium and buy a fancy product."

I already have 5 troy ounce bars and wanted to get the bigger ones, so, I ordered the 10 troy ounce bars. The new bars arrived yesterday in sealed plastic sleeves. They look and feel nice. However, some of the edges seem to be overly smoothed/filed down. I'm giving these 4.5 stars, but, have to round up to 5 stars.
Shortly after placing this latest order, I made another purchase, but, for the 1 troy ounce bars. I'm looking forward to having all three sizes (1, 5, and 10 troy ounces) in my modest collection. Thank you Provident Metals for having these products available. " |

I was excited to get this bar because of the mirror like finish. It arrived new in a heavy plastic pouch. My wife was the first to see, and commented that it was very beat up looking. I also got a couple elemetal coins that were about the same quality. This is the only bad experience ever with provident metals and i will not order element bars or coins anymore. I gave the 2 star only because it’s beaten up but still silver.

The design is quite original. I like Elemetal because it is a budget brand with a nice design and name.
The fact the use the Elemental information of Silver is quite classy in a scientific way, and makes up for any fancy brand names or pretty intricate designs other brands sell at a fee.
Yet the bars look far from perfect, they can have some smudges or imperfections from the molding press, these are absolutely negligible details and I consider them minor cosmetic imperfections.
I buy these bars when I have more investment money than usual, in order to get the most silver for my money, and they work for that purpose, FLAWLESSLY.

Love the prices here at providential,they are the best in the industry. However, they are the slowest company on processing a check, which delays the shipment substantially. That’s the only negative. They could do better on turnaround time.

Just received my 10 ozt bar: from order to mailbox–just 4 days! This bar is a beaut,: its about 9cm x 6cm x 0.5cm.
It came sealed in a thick, clear plastic pouch, the artwork is just as you see it online. The edges have a few dings: I don’t care at all, but if you’re a stickler for perfection, you might care.
I will probably purchase more of these each year, they should stack well.
