All of the gold bars, regardless of weight, have similar design features. The obverse of each bar features IGR’s initials along with the bar’s weight, metal content, purity, seven-digit serial number, and logo. The reverse of each bar features a stamp of the IGR initials in a diagonal repeating pattern.
Each bar is housed in a deep blue assay card, which also lists the metal weight, purity, and matching serial number, and three anti-counterfeiting measures: the Certified Assayer Signature, Oval Silver Hologram IGR Stamp, and hidden artwork that can only be viewed by UV light.
Each bar is produced by the renowned Istanbul Gold Refinery (IGR). The Istanbul Gold Refinery was established in 1996 with the backing of the Turkish government and the Istanbul Gold Exchange. It was the first Turkish refiner to be listed on the Istanbul Gold Exchange and has since been recognized the world over as the producer of some of the most high-quality bullion products in the world. IGR was certified by The London Bullion Market (LBMA) in 2011, and was officially approved by the Chicago Commodity Exchange (COMEX) in 2014. These certifications signify that IGR bars meet the strict weight and purity standards to be actively traded in Global markets.
