About the 90% Silver Half Dollar Roll Type Set

In fact, at various points in American history, it was the largest silver coin in regular production. Silver Dollars went on hiatus in the 19th and 20th centuries, but Half Dollars have been made continuously since 1794!

Although 90% silver Half Dollars have not been made since 1964, they continue to be used as bullion items to this day.
