The obverse features the famous wizard himself. Merlin stands in a snowy forest, wearing an elegant cloak and carrying a walking stick. A white owl perches near his shoulder and three hedgehogs walk by at his feet.
The shared reverse in the Celtic Lore series features a celtic knot as the central focus, with additional celtic artwork around the rim. Two wolves facing inward are positioned on either side. Inscriptions read “CELTIC LORE” and “1 OZ 999 FINE SILVER.”
The Celtic Lore Provident original series features five designs based on the folklore, myths, and legends of the Celts. Each round brings to life the original artwork of world-renowned artist and illustrator Howard David Johnson, along with the work of master sculptor Luigi Badia. These limited edition silver bullion rounds were struck at the Osborne Mint, in partnership with Anonymous Mint.
Each Merlin round comes edge-numbered with a certificate of authenticity. Rounds are protected inside of an Air-Tite capsule and a Provident-branded coin box.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All products are discreetly packaged and shipped with full insurance included.
Most Provident orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.

The Celtic Lore series is great so far. I have used JM bullion in the past as well. Provident has the best silver round collections. Right now I am tied up with the Angels and Demons, The Celtic Lore and the 4 horseman. I have to have every coin and bar in the collection. Its the way my brain works. If I miss one I wont be happy. Then you are on EBAY over paying trying to find it. My advice don't get over your head. I know its hard, when you see a series, you want them all. That's how they get you. Its not Provident, don't misunderstand. What I am saying is have the money to get them all at once, or follow the releases closely. Once the series is gone you will be mad you didn't get the one missing coin and then you are at the mercy of people selling auctions."

This is a beautiful item and comes nicely packaged, though my 3 year old grandson will not appreciate at this, this Christmas, he will have a shiny reminder when he gets older, that's appreciated in real value. very nice"
