    Established by Jim Pavlakos in 1974, Golden State Mint (GSM) has manufactured millions of rounds and bars for bullion dealers across the nation. Boasting some of the shortest lead and delivery times in the industry, GSM continues to expand, using state-of-the-art equipment in multiple facilities.

    Golden State Mint Rounds

    The Golden State Mint is known for its wide array of silver and copper rounds. The GSM creates unique designs, yet also takes famous coin images and recreates them on copper and silver rounds as well.

    Rounds are available in the following sizes:

    • 1/10 oz
    • 1/4 oz
    • 1/2 oz
    • 1 oz
    • 2 oz
    • 5 oz

    Some popular unique designs include the following:

    • GSM Eagle: right-profile portrait of an eagle with another eagle soaring in the foreground.
    • Cannabis Round: Similar design as the Canadian Maple Leaf Series, but instead of a sugar maple leaf the design shows a cannabis leaf.
    • Donald Trump Round: Front-facing portrait of Donald Trump smiling at the viewer.
    • Crucifixion Round: The image of Jesus Christ stuck on the cross.
    • Justice Round: Right-profile portrait of the female personification of Justice basking in the rays of sunshine.

    Silver rounds are made from .999 pure silver and arrive individually in flips or in tubes of 20. Copper rounds are made from .999 pure copper.

    Golden State Mint Bars

    At Provident Metals we have several silver bar options from the GSM as well. These bars are typically available in smaller sizes such as 1 oz, 5 oz, and 10 oz.

    The standard GSM minted ingot has the identifying marks of the bar on the obverse. This includes the name of the mint, the metal content, purity, and the GSM logo. The reverse shows a repeating pattern of the mint name.

    GSM History

    The Golden State Mint was founded in 1974 and has always been a family-run, private business. They were established in Central Florida, where they still are located today. The private mint creates gold, silver, copper rounds and bars.
