The Chinese Panda 1 oz Copper Round is a beautiful tribute to the Chinese Gold Panda. Each of these one AVDP ounce copper rounds consists of .999 Fine Copper, and measures 39 mm in diameter.
The obverse of this round features an image of a baby panda and its mother sitting amongst stalks of bamboo. Although the dragon functions as the primary symbol for China, the panda acts as an additional emblem. The panda is an endangered species. About 90% of the world’s remaining panda population reside in Chinese forests or zoos. In addition to the pandas, the words “1 oz AVDP” and “999 Fine Copper” are engraved at the bottom of the round.
The reverse of the Chinese Panda 1 oz Copper Round feature a Chinese temple and is inscribed with “1 AVDP OUNCE .999 FINE COPPER”.

Very intricately-detailed; they've done an admirable job of mimicking the very-busily-detailed Chinese Panda. It is coin-strike, not medallion-strike (i.e., obverse and reverse are oriented opposite one another). I have a personal appreciation for the likeness of the Temple of Heaven."
