Modeled after the Peace Dollar, the obverse features a left-facing profile view of Lady Liberty. “LIBERTY,” “IN GOD WE TRUST,” and “1921” are inscribed.
The reverse features the US seal, originally designed by Charles Thompson in 1782. A bald eagle holds thirteen arrows and an olive branch in its talons to symbolize war and peace. Inscriptions include the mint’s name and the round’s weight and purity.
Single Peace Dollar copper rounds ship in plastic flips. Multiples of 20 ship in a plastic tube and multiples of 500 ship in a monster box. Protect your round with an Air-Tite plastic capsule.

"
Of the copper rounds offered by Provident as tributes to classic U. S. coins, this is the only one that gets it half wrong. The obverse is perfect, and it's fascinating to see the design of the silver Peace Dollar struck in the red-gold color of copper. But the reverse is disappointing - the original Peace Dollar had a very powerful rendering of a perched Bald Eagle, my favorite eagle depiction on any U. S. coin. Sadly, the mint that designed this copper round used a different eagle design for the reverse. I'll keep watching and hoping for a new design for this round which is more faithful to the original."

Just got my Peace Dollar 1 OZ Copper Round today and it is beautiful. Copper is so affordable - hope it becomes just like "Silver" in high demand as Silver. Copper is also used for industrial uses! Two thumbs up for this round and for Provident Metals quick delivery. Thanks again PM! I can hardly wait for a tube of Peace Dollars to arrive in the mail. Get 'em while you can!"

Just got my tube of copper rounds. Too bad they are only copper, they are beautiful !
I'll hold em and they might be worth something some day. As of now, they are just conversation pieces. But man... they are pretty ! I give them away as tips at restaurants ! But it kills me to do so...Did I say... They are beautiful !" |
