History

The Peace Dollar Silver Coin was the last circulation silver dollar in US history. The coins featured 90% silver with 10% copper and the last issue in 1935 marked the last release of silver dollars. The next dollar coin issued by the US Mint was the Eisenhower Dollar, but it was not issued for circulation with silver content.
