One of the most revered coins in American numismatics is the $10 US Gold Eagle. This coin, first minted by the United States Mint in 1794 and issued until 1933, is known for its Liberty Head Eagle design, which was the dominant feature from 1838 to 1907. Obverse
On the obverse of the Pre-33 Liberty Eagle Gold Coin, you’ll find Lady Liberty in left-profile relief. Designed by Gobrecht, this depiction is influenced by Greek and Roman art, featuring Liberty with a coronet crown and a ring of 13 stars.
Reverse
The reverse side of the $10 Liberty Eagle Gold Coin features the heraldic eagle, also crafted by Gobrecht. The eagle is shown with the national shield and holds arrows and an olive branch, representing war and peace. The Liberty Eagle comes in Type I and Type II reverse variants, with Type I lacking the national motto and Type II including it, introduced in 1866.
History
The Liberty Gold Eagle was introduced as the second design for the $10 US Gold Eagle Coin series. Although the $10 Gold Eagle was produced from 1794 to 1933, the Liberty design was the most prominent, struck from 1838 to 1907. Designed by Christian Gobrecht, the 3rd Chief Engraver of the United States Mint, this design is a classic example of American coinage.

All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
Provident is only able to ship to addresses in any of the 50 US states. This includes P.O. boxes and APO addresses.
