Obverse
The obverse design of the $20 Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle Gold Coin showcases Lady Liberty striding forward with strength and grace. She holds a torch in her right hand to represent freedom and an olive branch in her left to symbolize peace. Inscriptions include LIBERTY and the date mark.
Reverse
On the reverse, the Pre-33 Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle Gold Coin features a majestic bald eagle flying over the sun, representing the rising strength and optimism of the United States. Inscriptions read UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and TWENTY DOLLARS.
History
When the Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle was introduced in 1907, it did not include the “IN GOD WE TRUST” motto, which had appeared on Double Eagles since 1866. This changed in late 1908 when the U.S. Mint altered the reverse to include the national motto, making the No Motto coins from these years unique.

All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
Provident is only able to ship to addresses in any of the 50 US states. This includes P.O. boxes and APO addresses.
