Obverse
The obverse of the Proof American Eagle 1/10 oz Gold Coin features Lady Liberty. This iconic design comes from Augustus Saint-Gaudens and was originally created for the $20 Gold Double Eagle. It features Liberty walking toward the viewer with a torch in her right hand and an olive branch in her left. The US Capitol Building is visible at her feet in the background. A ring of 50 stars surrounds her figure.
Reverse
On the reverse, Proof American Eagle Gold Coins feature the image of a family of American bald eagles. Here, a female eagle is shown in the family nest with a single hatchling under her wing for protection. A male eagle flies over the nest in the design created by Miley Busiek.
History
Proof American Eagle Gold Coins were introduced in three stages. The first issue was the 1 oz gold version in 1986 along with all four bullion options. The second stage came in 1987 when the 1/2 oz gold coin was released. The third, and final, stage was in 1988 when the 1/4 oz and these 1/10 oz coins were issued.

Your Proof American Eagle 1/10 oz Gold Coin arrives with a protective plastic slab from either the NGC or the PCGS. Provident Metals offers these coins from random years. We cannot guarantee a specific date mark for you. Please note you may receive several matching date marks if you buy more than one. All coins are chosen at random once your payment clears.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. Most Provident orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
