The Proof American Eagle 1/10 oz Platinum Coins were available from 1997 to 2008. This weight was regularly the best-seller in the fractional-ounce series. Its debut issue in 1997 sold a total of 70,250 specimens, the second-highest mintage in the series behind only the 1998 1 oz coin.
