The Jefferson coin features the Capped Bust Liberty design, the Jackson coin the Seated Liberty Dime design, and the Van Buren coin the Liberty Coronet design.

History

The First Spouse Series is a companion program to the Presidential $1 Coin Series. To qualify for the Presidential $1 Series, a President must be out of office and no longer living. As such, when the series concluded in 2016, the last president to qualify was Ronald Reagan. First Spouses qualify when the president qualifies for the $1 Coin Series. As such, Nancy Reagan is the most recent spouse featured.
