The Liberty motif appeared on American gold coins for much of the 19th and early 20th centuries. It first debuted on the $10 Eagle in 1838 and remained in use until 1908. As such, it was one of the longest-running design themes in American numismatic history. Other than some minor changes — such as the addition of “IN GOD WE TRUST” to the reverse in 1866 — most LIberty gold coins saw little or no modification over the years.
This set contains all four major U.S. gold coin denominations in the Liberty design theme. Each four-coin mini-collection contains a $2.50 Quarter Eagle, $5 Half Eagle, $10 Eagle, and $20 Double Eagle. Each coin is a “Low Premium” specimen, meaning that it may show evidence of cleaning, wear, and/or scratching. This condition is typical for 19th and early 20th century gold coins, as they saw extensive use in circulation.
The coins in this category will have a random year of issue ranging between 1838 and 1908, depending on our current inventory.
Individual coins will be shipped in clear plastic flips for easy viewing and storage.

All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
Provident is only able to ship to addresses in any of the 50 US states. This includes P.O. boxes and APO addresses.
