Obverse

In the obverse design of the 2023 Austrian Philharmonic Gold Coin, the Austrian Mint features a depiction of the pipe organ inside the Musikverein. The design field comes with various inscriptions that include REPUBLIK OSTERREICH, 1/2 UNZE GOLD 999.9, 2023, and 50 EURO.

Reverse

For the reverse face of 2023 Philharmonic 1/2 oz Gold Coin, the mint depicts a collection of musical instruments. These instruments are clustered around a large cello. This cello is flanked on either side by two violins. The background is filled with a horn, a bassoon, and a harp. The inscriptions on this side include WIENER PHILHARMONIKER.

Austrian Philharmonics were initially available from 1989 to 2001 with face values in Austrian Schillings. Following the adoption of the Euro in the Eurozone economy, the Austrian Philharmonics featured face values in Euros. While the coins are legal tender in Austria, they are not in other Eurozone nations.

Can I choose the method of shipping?

All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.

Will I need to sign for my package?

For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.

Provident is only able to ship to addresses in any of the 50 US states. This includes P.O. boxes and APO addresses.
