Obverse
The obverse side of these 2024 American Eagle Gold Coins features the timeless design of Lady Liberty, originally created by Augustus Saint-Gaudens in 1907. This design was first used on the $20 Gold Double Eagle until 1933. It portrays Liberty walking toward the viewer, holding a torch in one hand and an olive branch in the other. Inscriptions read LIBERTY, 2024, and the ASG signature mark.
Reverse
On the reverse of the 2024 Eagle 1 oz Gold Coin, you’ll find the image of an American bald eagle, designed by Jennie Norris in 2020 and introduced in mid-2021. This design captures the eagle’s head in a left-profile relief. Inscriptions include UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, IN GOD WE TRUST, 50 DOLLARS, and 1 OZ. FINE GOLD.
History
The detractions present on an MS69 coin are typically limited to areas outside the main focal points. These imperfections usually consist of minor contact marks or hairlines. First Strike coins are those that were certified within 30 days of their release by the US Mint.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. Most Provident orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
