All denominations of Mexican Gold Pesos share a common obverse featuring the Mexican Coat of Arms. It consists of an eagle perched on a cactus with a serpent in its beak. Above the bird’s head is the inscription “ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS.”
The reverse of the 20 Peso features the ancient Aztec sun calendar, Cuauhxicalli, which was believed to have been carved in 1479. The denomination is stamped in.
Mexican Pesos ship in plastic flips and will arrive in varied condition.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
Provident is only able to ship to addresses in any of the 50 US states. This includes P.O. boxes and APO addresses.

The Mayan calendar has to be the best design I have ever seen on a gold coin. The premium is very reasonable as well, a great coin to add to your stack for sure. If you see it in stock, you better buy it as it tends to fly off the shelf!"

If you have “gold coins of the world” in your collection, this one is a must! Just under a half ounce with a reasonable premium. The Aztec calendar is not as high a relief as the photos would have you think, so it will not wear down rapidly. The classic eagle on a cactus grasping a snake is well executed. A smooth, lettered edge is a nice change from all the reeded coins. Try at least one and you won’t be disappointed.
