The Black Horse of Famine 1 oz Antique Silver Round has galloped to Provident. It is the third design in the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse Provident original series, following the the White Horse of Conquest and the Red Horse of War. Each silver round in the series consists of one troy ounce of .999 fine silver. All four horsemen designs in the series have been released sequentially, one per quarter. Alongside the last design, a 10 oz silver bar that features all four designs will wrap up the series.

Graded and holdered by the NGC, these Black Horse of Famine antique rounds are each stamped with an individual serialized edge number between 0001 and 2000.

A GEM BU grade indicates a score of 65 and 70 on the Sheldon Coin Grading Scale, which translates to a round that is in excellent condition. Each graded round is sonically sealed in a plastic casing for preservation. A custom label is included in the slab that indicates the series name, the round’s grade, the NGC logo, and the Four Horsemen shield.

The common series reverse features four horses leaping up behind a shield that displays all of the horsemens’ privy marks. “THE FOUR HORSEMEN OF THE APOCALYPSE” and “ONE OUNCE 999 FINE SILVER” are inscribed.
