The Black Horse of Famine 1 oz Proof Silver Round is the highly anticipated third release in the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse Provident original series. The Black Horse gallops into Provident after the White Horse of Conquest and the Red Horse of War. Each of these silver rounds consists of one troy ounce of .999 fine silver. The four designs are on a schedule to be sequentially released each quarter. Along with the last round, a 10 oz silver bar that features all four horsemen will be released with no listed end date.

The NGC has graded and holdered a select number of Black Horse of Famine proof rounds. These also come stamped with an individual serialized edge number between 0001 and 2000.

A grade of MS70 on the Sheldon Coin Grading Scale indicates a round that is in perfect condition. After grading, each round is sealed in a plastic holder for protection with a label that indicates the series name, the round’s grade, the NGC logo, and the Four Horsemen shield.

On the reverse, you will find four horses rearing up above a shield that bears all of the horsemens’ privy marks. “THE FOUR HORSEMEN OF THE APOCALYPSE” and “ONE OUNCE 999 FINE SILVER” are inscribed around the rim.
