The obverse features the Great Organ that is found within the Golden Hall, one of Austria’s most famous concert halls. It carries inscriptions of “REPUBLIK OSTERREICH” and “1/10 UNZE GOLD 999.9,” along with the year of issue and denomination.
On the reverse, you’ll find an array of musical instruments carved in great detail. This includes a french horn, bassoon, harp, cello, and four violins. The inscription reads “WIENER PHILHARMONIKER.”

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All products are discreetly packaged and shipped with full insurance included.
Most Provident orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. I have several 1/10th oz Krugerrands and so far, one 1/10th Philharmonic. The Krugerrands sell for a bit more, I suppose because of how well-known they are. They're nice, too. But when viewed side by side, personally, I prefer the look of pure gold like this coin has, over the "crown gold" mixed with copper that the Krugerrand has. Otherwise, I don't have a preference of one coin over the other.
For any 1/10th oz gold coin, this may seem obvious for some, but for anybody new to buying this type of coin, it's very small. Smaller than a dime and considerably smaller than a penny. I will add, I ordered one of these coins six days ago, have a tracking number, but USPS only says a label was created, and now I notice that they're sold out. So I'm a little concerned with how this order is being handled, but that's unrelated to the coin itself." |
