For example, additional silver bullion medals include 1/2 oz, 2 oz, and 10 oz silver bullion. The 1/10 oz gold medal debuted in 2018 and offered the first expansion of the gold bullion versions.
Obverse
For the obverse design of the 1/10 oz Gold 2019 South Korean Chiwoo Cheonwang Medallion, KOMSCO uses the image of Do ggae bi. This hobgoblin figure is so grotesque in appearance that it is believed his horrific looks can ward off evil spirits. Do ggae bi is featured in artwork on the shield of Chiwoo Cheonwang. This face of the medallions offer inscriptions of Republic of Korea, KOMSCO, 1/10 Clay, and 2019 Fine Gold 999.
Reverse
In the reverse element, the 1/10 oz Gold 2019 South Korean Chiwoo Cheonwang Medallions offer a depiction of Chiwoo Cheonwang after another successful battle. He has removed his helmet and is surveying the landscape around him with his shield and sword at rest after slaying another enemy army.
History
Chiwoo Cheonwangs legacy has become mythical in the millennia after his death. A successful general and commander of the one the three founding tribes of China, he is said to have had the power to control the weather to confuse his enemies in battle.

1/10 oz Gold 2019 South Korean Chiwoo Cheonwang Medallions are available to purchase today in Brilliant Uncirculated condition sealed inside of a red assay card from KOMSCO. The assay card represents one-quarter of the total mintage of 5,000 gold medallions in this weight. Four colorized assay cards are available with the 1/10 oz Gold 2019 South Korean Chiwoo Cheonwang release. Each one, including these red assay cards, is limited to 1,250 medals.
