Gold bars represent one of the most trusted means of investing in gold bullion. Gold bars have been used as a measure of wealth, as well as a means of storing wealth, for thousands of years. Today, modern investors turn from financial markets when recessions and depressions hit, trusting in the steady hand of precious metals. Provident Metals currently has 1/2 oz Gold Bars representing Scotiabank available to you for purchase online.
When you purchase 1/2 oz Gold Bars in this product listing at Provident Metals, we offer you the gold bars in secondary market condition. Each bar is individually packaged inside of its own, sealed capsule card that has a tamper-evident seal. The card has a capsule space to house and protect the bar, as well as an assay card surrounding it that authenticates the weight, purity, and metal content of the bars.
The obverse of 1/2 oz Gold Bar bears the image of the Scotiabank logo, along with the mint name. Set against a clean, clear background field, the Scotiabank logo is found at the very center of the design element. The logo features a stylized S with a large globe at its middle. The globe is shaped and styled by the longitudinal and latitudinal lines across its figure. The inscriptions include Scotiabank in plain text at the bottom of the design field.
On the reverse side of the 1/2 oz Gold Bars are several inscriptions identifying the gold bar and its important markers. The name Valcambi Suisse is inscribed at the top of the bars design field. Other markings include 1/2 oz, Fine Gold, and 999,9. You will also notice the assayers mark on the bottom of the design field.
Scotiabank is Canadas third-largest bank when measured by deposits and market capitalization. The bank was founded in 1832 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and moved its headquarters to Toronto, Ontario, in 1900. All five of Canadas largest banks are headquartered in Toronto.
Valcambi Suisse is the mint behind the production of these gold bars. Valcambi was founded in Balerna, Switzerland, in 1961 and known originally as Valori & Cambi. Its name was changed to Valcambi Suisse after its acquisition by and long partnership with Credit Suisse.
