4 generic peace dollars and 1 eagles. Good over spot deal. Can’t believe someone lucked out and got zombucks. Think it might worth paying little more and getting some cool design onsale. Such as Aztec Calendar Silver Round or Spartan Warriors Silver Round or Provident
dragons rounds. Might sell better on ebay down the road.

I purchased 100 rounds during a recent flash sale. Of the 100, I probably got about 20 RMC rounds, 15-20 Montana gold rush rounds ?, 15-20 Boston Tea Party with the dont thread on me rattlesnake on the reverse, and the rest were all completely random. Some toned lightly, some heavily, some old, some new. Great value to stack and interesting, at least more than plain ol buffaloes.

You can get great deals, low premiums on this silver. For me it is also the most interesting way to buy silver because of the assorted types of silver you get. You can get old or unusual pieces that are not for sale anywhere, rounds that it would never occur to me to buy but are cool nevertheless.

Just received the 20 rounds I ordered. They were all new. They were packaged so well for shipping, it took me several minutes and a sharp knife to get to them. Kudos.

I received 5 of the exact same coin. Kind of a bummer. But they were spotless and beautiful! So how despondent can I really be?

Wow! Got 10 Year of the Ram 2015 silver 1oz rounds in BU condition!! Why by any other silver? Nicely packaged and I like that they require a signature for delivery.

I absolutely love what I refer to as the “grab bag.” Ended up with 20 buffalo rounds in BU condition! It’s all luck of the draw, so ymmv, but no matter what you end up with, I can’t see how you could go wrong.

I ordered 20 rounds, recognizing that “the condition will vary according to current inventory, and that some rounds may show signs of wear, handling, and/or toning.” What I received were 20 perfect 1 oz A-Mark Silver Rounds with the Liberty Bell on the obverse and the heraldic eagle on the reverse. I recognize that not all orders may come in like this, but this was an incredibly nice surprise! Way to go Provident! (BTW, I ordered the rounds on March 5 via e-Check and received the rounds on March 9 … talk about fast!)

I started with a starter pack from Provident silver last November of ten rounds at spot price. This has turned into a very nice move for me and since then I have bought six more times with each purchase I would get forty rounds at a time.
This has enabled me to get a substantial amount of 999 fine silver at a great price. I would like to continue at this rate just as long as I can!
I appreciate the service and delivery on a timely fashion and have looked at other sites but the pricing is always better at Provident. Please don’t change a thing!

I’ve ordered quite a few 1oz generic rounds from Provident. They always get them here quickly and I’ve never been disappointed with the quality. A note to the variety reviews: Yes, it’s interesting to get a variety of coins but they state specifically ?Variety: Not guaranteed ?on the order page. I?m collecting to protect myself against the impending collapse or devaluation of the petrodollar which is inevitable. So, why is anyone worried about how the 1oz generic silver round is stamped? Just my perspective. I respect yours but come on guys, give Provident a break.

Variety not guaranteed. may show signs of wear, handling, and/or toning. It says it in the ad. I’m cool with that. Some people are incapable of being satisfied. With that said, I am so stoked with what I got. Ordered 10 this time. Recieved an Australian funnel spider, Australian turtle, silver Britannia, 6 Britannia year of the horse and a generic year of the sheep silver round. All had pretty bad toning, but hey, it’s what I ordered. they have a face value. I love the “grab bag” experience. I will always come back for more. Be sure to read reviews before you buy. You get what you get. If you want a specific coin/design or condition this isn’t for you. But sometimes you get all bu. I love mysteries. haters gonna hate

I am so tired of reading reviews of people that are looking for variety. And buying only 2 or 3? And giving only a 4 star because of NO variety? This is silver at lowest price..used , people selling their bullion for cash. If you are looking for something else. Buy Panda’s, Kangaroo’s or some other things. There is a difference from Numismatic silver and getting silver at the lowest “over spot” price. I have got some “prime” silver for low prices. Maybe better check what you want to stack… And there is not that much variety in the people that make silver rounds and bars.

New to stacking, read the reviews on these and only ordered 3, hoping to get some variety. Got all prospectors. I don’t think I’ll be ordering anymore of these. Pretty decent condition, though.

Bought 10 of these secondary market rounds for 59 cents over spot. I was pleasantly surprised when all 10 arrived today in shiny new condition! I will continue to buy these when they are on special.

I ordered 20 of these knowing full well that I may get some pretty gnarly looking rounds, but what I received really surprised me. With the exception of 2 rounds most were in very good to very good+ condition and I even received an NFL collector proof round which was pretty cool to see in there. Overall they were great and had a nice variety of different minted rounds. Very happy, and already placed another order.

Just received my first of two orders of these “seconds.” I got a TOTAL mix of 7 different rounds which is just fine by me. At .39 above spot this was a “no brainer.” Just “stack and don’t look back.”

I ordered 60, 1 ounce rounds rounds hoping to get an interesting variety… and I got 60 of the same rounds… They were walking Liberty rounds from Money Metals Exchange, whom I have never heard of. Like they say, you get what you get! For $.49 over spot it was a pure investment choice.

I think this is one of the best ways to stack silver bullion…I never expect more than what is advertised. One troy ounce of silver per round. If someone wants something special they can always go to the silver rounds and pick what they want. Which I do once in awhile. These rounds are not for show but put in a tube and store away…GREAT DEAL PROVIDENT !!!!

Great value, especially if design isn’t a big concern. I ordered 2 and both were buffalo designs. Both were in fantastic shape. I read some of the other reviews that mentioned to only order smaller quantities since Provident has a habit of sending all the same design in one order. Found this to be true, but not a bid deal for me. Will be ordering more.

After reading the last 2 reviews i may have to buy smaller and more often! My stack is huge after a few years of buying both large and small orders from Provident and hardly anyone else! I loved the detail of the Prospector round, and only once did I get some that looked as if the dies were worn out and they were new. I’m not a complainer so I let it go, mostly because I have been very pleased with everything else in the thousands of dollars worth of product, both premium and sale variety and even traded asset for asset with Provident and through everything, i have remained pleased to give them my business and the quality overall. Some of their mintages are 2nd to none!

You never know what you are going to get with this… I agree with Branden that it is better to order just a few at a time, so you don’t get a whole pile of duds. However, I have received some very nice rounds this way… this order had a Hoffman and Hoffman unicorn. Way fun. Provident is my favorite silver distributor.

I have ordered these many times and always got BU coins that look perfect, except my last order. The description does say some coins may have blemishes etc on them but I just never got any till now so I was probably spoiled. But I ordered 5 rounds and every single one was a cull coin. All had either black streaks or black spots or both on them. All were the new design provident prospector rounds as well so they couldn’t be that old. Little disappointed this time around but will still order these again in the future. Just will probably limit it to 1-2 at a time instead of putting in larger orders to hedge the chance I get a bag full of duds. Also if you want variety it is best to order small amounts in different orders instead of loading up in 1 order. Rarely do i get different types of rounds in the same order. Despite my disappointment this time I still think Provident is the best online bullion dealer out there right now and I have made around 40 orders with them in the last few years.

To avoid shipping costs, I added 3 of these when they were on special to another order. Since they are random and “used” I had not expectations… I received 3 SMI 1 oz Silver Round – Walking Liberty in Proof-like condition. One did have minor toning on part of the edge, but the obverse and reverses are mirror-like and beautiful coins! Very happy with this lot!

Ordered 6 rounds…just enough to get the free shipping. Think it was $104 or so. Received 6 Enviroment rounds pretty badly tarnished. A bit disappointed, but what the heck….worth more today than when I bought them, and its still .999 silver at an unbeatable price. My goal is to spend a bit each month, and build my stack. Have bought from most majors, and if buying on a budget like me,..you cannot beat Provident In any case, Enviroment is out of business, so I have something that is no longer in production. What a surprize when i received my order and they all look like new, and in plastic cases even!

Those of you that order random products hoping to get varied or assorted would be happy with the rounds that I received. 13 out of 20 were different mints and or designs. 5 or 6 had significant toning. I am generally happy with them.

the coins I received are a part of history. dated 1981 they say “U.S. ASSAY OFFICE SAN FRANCISCO. I researched this and one story says the silver was stored by the government after the Hunt brothers attempted to corner the market. At first these coins were the worst of my stack but now I have a part of history at hand. very interesting.

I’m not a big fan of silvertowne’s quality of minting but the prince was right and silver is silver.

I have done business both ways for a couple years now with Provident and always enjoy the experience. Nobody’s perfect, but they make things right every time. I love the any quantity secondary market sales for the deal, but more for the suspense! I’ve had a couple nice surprises over the years to add a little variety to my stack, and they are affectionately called my keepers, but always top notch regardless.

Ordered 6 of these got 4 buffalo’s and 2 mercury dimes all in perfect condition, never would of guessed they were secondary market. Will be purchasing again.

I bought a tube of 20 of these, and they were excellent. Not perfect, straight-from-the-mint quality, but really close. These had clearly not been handled much, or exposed to air (none showed signs of tarnish). All 20 were of the same style, too. I even checked the weight, and it was dead-on. This is a terrific way to build your stack.

After thirty something orders without a complaint, Provident Metals is always first on the short list when I’m shopping. Their products are A-1 and deals are as good as anyone’s. I particularly like the any quantity, secondary market sales, because I love surprises, and have had some nice ones on occasion. When this deal is available, I buy, even when I had no intention of buying anything, just hoping to get lucky and adding to my stack regardless.
I also buy their minted premium products, which I think are beautiful. They have it all!

I got into silver a short while ago and researched many companies that sell metals on line. I have made purchases from several companies but I found a home with Provident. They are friendly, efficient and incredibly trustworthy. I have loved all the products I have purchased from them and this one is no exception.

These are my favorite 1 oz rounds to buy. For my most recent purchase I received 20 Sunshine Mint Walking Liberty rounds. They were in perfect condition and came in a sealed tube. You can’t beat the price per ounce and Provident really knows how to treat their customers right. I really enjoy the surprise when I open the tube. As an added bonus, they threw in a window sticker and a bunch of lollipops. Provident is the best! I recommend using the e-check option for payment. It’s faster than a paper check and you receive the 4% cash discount.

I have bought these on several occasions in the past few years but lately they seem to always be sold out. Best tip is to set up an Email Alert and be ready to place your order as soon as you receive the notification. Lately these sell out with in a couple of hours of the email notification being sent but they are definitely worth it. Great quality and value!

I purchased 6 1 oz rounds. The 6 rounds I received were in excellent condition and were each in a coin flip. Also, the shipment was cleverly packaged and labeled Provident “Motor Bearings” to protect from theft during shipment. I will definitely be purchasing from Provident again.

Purchased 6 coins; 5 came in plastic capsules, one in a flip; three OPM’s (works for me :), one 1987 State of Texas, one “Morgan silver dollar”, one 1981 San Francisco US Assay office (zowee). Five coins very BU, one coin (US Assay) is clearly uncirculated, but modest lustre, no problem here! I am tickled pink, gonna order more right now. This is a superb value.

I bought these expecting mistreated rounds, but they seemed brand new, and I will definitely buy again.

I ordered 20 their choice and received 20 all the same 2013. I kind of expected a variety. They are very nice & shiny so I am not really disappointed. I just hadn’t seen this design on the website as it is different from the other indian head/buffalos that they have. But an ounce of silver is still an ounce.

5 stars because silver is silver, and the price is right. I ordered 20, got 8 brand new buffalos, 5 – 2012 buffalos, 3 – 2010 buffalos, really rough and one has an acid test spot on it, and I got 4 very dull scratched and faded pan American silver Corp rounds by northwest territorial mint. Can’t beat the price for adding raw weight to the stack! Thanks Provident!

Ordered 12. All in good condition. Eight of a common design. 2 unusual. 2 had never seen and priced much higher on sites where they could be found. All in all, a very good deal.

Ordered one and got a buffalo round. Ordered a dozen more just before they went out of stock. I love the low premium rounds to add weight to my stack and the random nature of these rounds appeals to my indecisive nature. This deal was a big deciding factor to get me to order from Provident and I’m very glad that I did. Please Provident, get these back in Stock asap!

When i opened the box and checked out the loose seven rounds packed in the individual clear flips,I was happy to see a great variety of silver rounds.
But when i opened the tube of 20, they were all Christmas.
Oh well silver is silver and that won’t stop me from buying more. HAPPY STACKING

These were a couple cents more then the other rounds I was going to buy so I said why not. All of them were nice, some I own, and others I probably wouldn’t have bought but now that I’ve seen them in person I’d reconsider. I also got a few Maples Leafs, nice surprise. I think I’d take at shot at pot luck again.

Well my first go around with the grab bad approach had me on the edge of my seat until they arrived. I ordered 100 rounds hoping for a hodgepodge of different coins and I did receive that. But 60 of the coins were Santa or holiday coins?…….. Not sure if I would do it again with the majority of coins received being old Christmas coins. Seriously provident, break up the not so desirable coins a little bit more.

I ordered 100 rounds and I am very happy with what I received. If you want every round to be different then you should order what design’s you want, if you want a good value with the chance of some great obscure rounds this is it. I did get a lot of the same design rounds 30 of one, 20 of 2 different designs, 10 of another now all of these are brand new strikes never issued, nice. Now the last 20 are a great mix of old and new, several old holiday, couple sports, several collectable one selling on ebay right now for $77. and a nice mix of new designs. Overall I am very happy and will purchase another 100 real soon.

I am updating my review of this product from 4 stars to 5. I gave it four stars before because it says “Multiples of 500 rounds will arrive in a strapped Provident Metals Green Monster Box” which my order did not. But after writing a review stating this, Provident Metals shipped me a Monster Box free of charge. This was very impressive to me and that is way I am changing my review from 4 to 5 stars.

Just received an order of 100 rounds. In all fairness, there’s no guarantee offered by Provident as to the design or condition of these rounds, and I accepted that I could have ended up with most anything. I received 100 Provident Metals 2012 Year of the Dragon rounds in uncirculated condition. I feel I got my money’s worth, but there are better bargains at Provident – I could have ordered their Prospector round (or several other designs that were available at the time I ordered) for a lower unit cost, and I like the Prospector design better. I chose “Our Choice” rounds because I was hoping for a variety of designs, which the description says is possible, but doesn’t guarantee. I’m satisfied that I got reasonable value for my money, but I’m not thrilled. I won’t order these again unless they’re priced well below other rounds.

I ordered 500 of these rounds, and here are some pros and cons.

PROS
– all coins came in 39mm CoinSafe Medallion Tubes
– I received 6 or 7 different types of coins
– shipping was fast
– great looking coins (for the most part)

CONS
– coins did not come in a Provident Metals Green Monster Box, even though I ordered 500 rounds.
– some of the coins had milk spots or bad scratches on them

After reading mixed reviews I thought, why not? Ordered 10 just for chance and received 3 different styles, all in new to almost new condition. Couldn’t ask for better. Been ordering from Provident for over a year and a good review is long overdue. Flawless transactions every time. It took one phone call to “that company on the radio” to realize this is the only place I will order. Keep up the terrific job!

Silver is silver, so I can’t complain too much but . . . I ordered 60 rounds in the hopes of getting some variety in design. However, I received 60 generic (apparently new) Buffalo rounds. That being said, the price over spot was excellent and, back to the beginning . . . Silver is Silver (was just hoping for a variety).

Order Went great! I actually got lucky and got the last 8 that were left before it went out of stock. Great, cost friendly way to stack up the ounces and have fun wondering what your gonna get! This was my first order from Provident and it WON’T be my last. This is also my first silver investment purchase. I was told that I should order junk silver for my first investment purchase, but at 75 cents over spot, I absolutely had to order the “trust us” silver. I am not disappointed. First, I paid by personal check and got my silver delivered 13 days after ordering. I did get some OPM, but only 3, and I knew that was a probability, because the only way to get stuff worth more than what I paid, I had to get some things that were worth less than what I paid. That said, I got some awesome surprises. Got an absolutely gorgeous Incuse Indian, 3 GSM Buffalos, and 3 very valuable silver collectors coins. I feel like I got much more than I paid for. Thank you Provident, I know I may not get this lucky all the time, but I am super excited about my first order and will be ordering again soon, probably exclusively. Hopefully, if I order enough, I’ll get lucky enough to end up with a standing liberty, a saint gaudens, or a morgan. Can’t wait to try again!!!

I was looking for some interesting rounds to stack. Read the reviews and some people were satisfied, and some were not. I noticed that the price on these was about the same as OPM rounds, which is what one reviewer said they got (at a higher price). I didn’t see any downside at the current price, so I ordered 22 rounds. I thought at least if I got 20 OPMs, maybe I’d get two “assorted” rounds.
As it turned out, I got ten Buffaloes, ten Incuse Indians, an Andrew Jackson, and one other round (Chinese, I think). So, I feel Provident did well by me. Would pick up more next time they are in stock!

I have to admit at first I was not too happy about receiving all the same rounds but after talking to customer service I understand they ship what they have on hand. I always like a good grab bag. But you can’t go wrong with this deal if your in it to stack up. Also I miss understood the description and I thought it said an air tite would be included. My apologies to provident to jumping to conclusions thinking my order was wrong. I will most likely order from provident again but I might just go with buying separate generic rounds to add variety to my portfolio. By the way I was shipped 4 buffalo rounds that were in pretty good shape. Thanks provident for not sending me garbage.

I received my second order of Providents our choice rounds! I would have to say theyI’m satisfied, I could of been happier with my purchase though! Received an OPM round that Icould of picked up for a dollar cheaper if I would of just picked it myself! Hey its always a gamble! They also arrived a little scuffed up, but that’s to be expected because look at the picture of rounds your getting a pick from. I expected this! Still very pleased! Thanks Provident! I went ahead and tried my luck with this and received a OPM round. I could have just purchased that one specifically and saved a few bucks. Oh well, maybe next time I will get something different. Coin was in great shape otherwise.

I got 20 eagles in my order. All were in decent shape, but 1 looked like it had been filed down to test if it was solid all the way through. I’m not talking a little nick, it has been filed all the way through the rim to the point that there is a distinct flat spot on 1 side. It’s annoying, but not enough to go through the return process for what amounts to less than a dollar.

This was my third order and I have always been overall pleased with what I got, but like many of the other reviews, I’m not very happy getting a roll of 20 of the same coins. Especially when they are of the Ohio variety. One reason I order the generic rounds is to get an assortment. I know it’s “your choice” but I am still disappointed. Like the others, part of the interest in this is the wide variety of designs out there to be had. I do not argue with the value, it seems reasonable.

Ordered 12 or these in August. Got them fairly quickly and was surprised to receive 12 Silver Bullet Silver Shield Freedom Girl rounds. All were new. Very Happy with Provident. Thanks!

For my first PM order I got 20 of these. 1 Lakota, 5 Morgan, 7 Mercury and 7 rather odd but interesting “Save the Queen” was my shipment. No major dings, dents or chips on any of them. The Morgans have some light marring on the cheek and there are a few marks on some of the other ones, but for the price they are acceptable.
I will be ordering more of these and from PM again.

I received my order 17 days after I placed. I thought that I might receive a variety of rounds. To my surprise I received buffalo rounds, 20 of them, my complete order.They were in wonderful shape, possibily uncurculated. I was concerned because they don,t have a date on them though. This is my third order with Provident. Never a problem, good service.

I’ve bought about 500 of these, during the last 2 years.

A few times I’ve gotten variety, like in the picture – sort of like collecting Silver Art bars.

Most of the time, I get a whole bunch of one kind.

Condition – always BU, so far.

What makes it good is the PRICE. The price gives Provident some flexibility on what to send, which seems to correlate to a slightly lower Buy-Sell spread.

Bought 20 of them and all coins were in great condition. Most of them were 20-25 years old, but the coins themselves were in great shape. Very please with the slection. Will order again when they get more stock

I purchased these for the good reviews of the selection, but there wasnt any at all, every one of them was the same, big time let down,,, I would not purchase again, but the price was right…….

I ordered 100 ounces and they were all Ohio Precious Metals rounds. Very good quality, proof-like. My only complaint is the lack of variety. If I wanted 100 OPM rounds than I would have just ordered OPM rounds as it is listed on Provident Metals. I was hoping to get all sorts of different rounds so I am disappointed in that regard. The low premiums make it good for stacking which was my intended goal but I will not be ordering seller’s choice rounds from Provident Metals anymore, instead turning to their selection of other low premium rounds.

Received all identical Silver Trade Unit rounds(not attractive). I am probably sticking to rounds that I know and like. However, it is silver and I am keeping what I purchased.

Have bought these”choice” rounds a number of times and have been pleasantly surprised each time at the variety and overall quality. I wasn’t aware that there was such a wide selection of rounds on the market. Each round is clearly marked 1 oz. .999 pure silver and although many have been circulated they don’t have any serious wear. Am enjoying the variety and am accumulating silver as well.

I discovered PM through searching the Internet. Placed my first order in late June, and got my order in about 2 weeks in early July. The quality of these silver rounds is excellent. As others have stated, the packaging is discreet and well packed. The prices are best I have found anywhere. I placed an order with NWT Mint on May 16, 2012 and have yet to receive my order. And I won’t get my order for another 4 weeks. What a joke! PM is my new and only place to buy gold and silver. DO NOT buy from Northworst Territory Mint.

Great mix from Liberty Mint, NRA hunting & fishing super slam, Buffalo, Morgans, Winged Libertyetc., even had a Engelhard & a Canadian Maple. Received 35 oz mix of older, generic private mint rounds in good condition. About half of them date to 1981 with little wear. Overall, a seamless transaction. Looking forward to buying more of these very soon.

Great variety of coins! Shipping took longer (7 days to process and ship compared to 2 days with my other provider) than other providers but packing was discrete and the product was of great quality. Would have been 5 stars had the shipping been a little faster.
