The God of Thunder Thor is a large and powerful man known for hurling his hammer at any target and return to his hand after hitting its target. The hammer of Thor is also known as Mjolnir. Thor was the son of Odin and giantess Fjorgyn. His role was to protect both gods and mankind from evil forces.
Each round from the Norse God Series is available in 1 oz and 5 oz weights. The collection features five gods and goddessesOdin, Thor, Hel, Freya, and Loki. These rounds feature intricate designs with mirrored, antique finishes that add warmth to the overall appearance of the round.
Obverse
The obverse of the 1 oz Silver Antique Norse God Series Thor Round features a strong depiction of Thor riding a chariot pulled by a team of goats. Thor holds his hammer with a bolt of lightning flashing out the end, depicting the power of Thor. You will find Thor and God of Thunder engraved on the obverse.
Reverse
On the reverse of these rounds, you will find an image of a Valkyrie on horseback holding a sword and shield. Odins Valkyrie are warrior maidens that ride through the skies over battlefields. The Valkyrie are chosen to select the individuals who will survive and those who will die in battle.
History
Anonymous Mint works with creator Julie Lindquist to produce the Norse God Series. Luigi Badia created the 3D sculpts with the inspiration of Howard David Johnsons artwork. Anonymous Mints works with Osborne Precious Metals, the oldest private mint in America, to produce and strike these rounds.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All products are discreetly packaged and shipped with full insurance included.
Most Provident orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
