The obverse showcases a modernized reproduction of the Indian head design found on James Earl Fraser’s Indian Head Nickel, also known as the Buffalo Nickel. The portrait of a Native American man was inspired by three chiefs including Big Tree of the Kiowa, Two Moons of the Cheyenne, and Iron Tall of the Lakota Sioux. “LIBERTY” is inscribed. SilverTowne recently removed the date inscription from the obverse. Rounds may or may not display the date, based on current inventory.
The reverse features an American buffalo, inspired by a 1,550 pound bison named Black Diamond that lived in the Central Park Zoo. Inscriptions include “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “E PLURIBUS UNUM,” and the weight and purity.
This buffalo round is based on the original Buffalo Nickel designed by James Earl Fraser. It was produced by the US Mint from 1913 to 1938, and it remains a popular coin among collectors and numismatists.
Each Silver Buffalo round ships in a plastic flip, with multiples of 20 shipping in a plastic tube. Add an Air-Tite to your order to protect your individual rounds.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All products are discreetly packaged and shipped with full insurance included.
Most Provident orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.

So I bought this because I was fascinated with the round and wanted some in my collection, also purchased for weight of value and not collection of value. I was not 100% sure what to expect but the face of the Native American & Buffalo are not shined, but clouded. I am not sure if this is normal in its design or a flaw in its making. Also, it did have some scratches across the faces but nothings perfect at the value I saved with this purchase, so I am happy about it.
