Each round in the series will focus on the doors through which we pass in our lives that leave us feeling uncertain about what we will find on the other side. Each of the rounds in this listing will ship to your door in plastic capsules for maximum protection during the shipping, displaying, and storing processes. Mintage is extremely limited for these rounds, as only 2,500 were struck.

Obverse

The obverse image starts with a group of nine doors. Since these rounds are from the first release, door number one is open. Under that, you will see design elements that are meant to showcase the inquisitive nature of humans. Our thirst for knowledge and enlightenment combine with our intrigue to get us through that first door.

Reverse

On the reverse side of these rounds, you will see the Chautauqua Silver Works bullseye logo. In the middle of the bullseye, you will see Ag 47 inscribed into the metal. This side of the round also features the motto for Chautauqua Silver Works: One More Ounce, One Less Fetter. You can see other inscriptions on this side as well, including the weight, purity, and metal content of the rounds.

The North American Mint worked closely with Chautauqua Silver Works to create a series of nine rounds. Each of the rounds features a different challenge that most people have to make in their lives. Part of the design shows how these decisions could impact our futures.
