Discover the fascinating world of Goldbacks, a unique and affordable pathway to invest in the timeless allure of gold. The 1 Goldback Gold Note stands as the smallest form of spendable gold available today. Following the success of the first four states to embrace Goldbakcs, South Dakota has joined the mix. Provident Metals is happy to present the 1 South Dakota Goldback Gold Note, available now.
Highlights:
Each 1 South Dakota Goldback Gold Note, available here at Provident Metals, arrives in brand-new condition within its own protective currency sleeve. These notes, denominated as 1 Goldback, represent a remarkable evolution in spendable gold currency, providing both an intriguing investment and a potential medium of exchange.
Obverse
The obverse of the 1 South Dakota Goldback Note features a captivating depiction of Pax, the Roman goddess of peace. Adorned with an assortment of animals and cradling a set of five rings, she exudes a sense of tranquility. The lower portion of the design showcases delicate flowers, while a majestic mountain range graces the top, completing the exquisite tableau.
Reverse
On the reverse, a mirrored rendition of the obverse image greets the beholder. The thin nature of these notes means that any design on the reverse would interfere with the obverse design.
History
Goldbacks ingeniously combine the familiar shape of traditional currency with the inclusion of delicate layers of 24-karat gold. Born from Utah’s pioneering Utah Legal Tender Act in 2019, these exceptional notes emerged as a voluntary form of currency, offering flexibility in transactions within the state that theyre issued. Following Utah’s lead, Nevada, New Hampshire, Wyoming, and now South Dakota have joined this novel currency trend.
