Design
For the design of the Silver Antique Isis Statue, the creators offer a depiction of the goddess Isis in a kneeling position. She is set upon a base with a body suit that has a scaled finish and long arms that have feathered wings attached. The monument she kneels upon has several Egyptian hieroglyphs, including those symbols that spell out her name. The two 3D symbols on either side of Isis are known as Tyet, often called the knot of Isis.
History
Isis was not only one of the oldest deities of ancient Egypt, but was also worshipped for one of the longest periods of time throughout Egyptian history. First worshipped during the Old Kingdom starting in the 27th century BCE, she was later adopted and blended with Greek and Roman gods during the Hellenistic Period in Egypt between the 3rd and 1st centuries BCE, during the Roman Period, and up until the rise of Christianity in the 4-6th centuries CE.
