Obverse
The obverse of the 1881 Morgan Dollar Coin features the graceful Lady Liberty in left-profile relief, adorned with a Phrygian cap, coronet crown, and laurel wreath a timeless design crafted by the talented George T. Morgan. Inscriptions read E PLURIBUS UNUM, LIBERTY, and 1881.
Reverse

History
From 1878 to 1904, and then once more in 1921, the Philadelphia Mint consistently issued the Morgan Silver Dollar annually, along with the San Francisco Mint. Serving as one of the primary mints producing these remarkable coins, the Philadelphia Mint holds a special place in American numismatic history.
