In 1907, the US Mint issued the Liberty Double Eagle for the final time as it transitioned to the new Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle. The 1907 release featured a total of more than 4.5 million coins. The San Francisco Mint issued the most coins with a mintage of 2,165,800 coins, followed by the Philadelphia Mint with 1,451,786 coins, and the Denver Mint with 842,250 coins.
