Obverse

History
In total, over 84 million coins were struck across the Philadelphia Mint, Denver Mint, and San Francisco Mint. The Philadelphia Mint alone accounted for 51.737 million coins. While the Denver Mint never surpassed its 1922 release, San Francisco managed to surpass its 1922 mintage just once, in the following year, 1923.
