Obverse
On the obverse of the 1923 Dollar Silver Coin, Anthony de Francisci’s design portrays Lady Liberty in left-profile relief, wearing a radiate crown. Inscriptions read 1923, LIBERTY, and IN GOD WE TRVST.
Reverse

These historic coins were struck at three branches of the US Mint: Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Denver. Coins without a mint mark, such as this one, indicate they were struck at the Philadelphia Mint. Nearly 75% of Peace Dollar Silver Coins were minted between 1922 and 1923.
