Obverse
The obverse side of 1986-2021 Proof American Eagle 35-Coin Silver Set specimens includes Walking Liberty. This design was created in 1916 for the United States Mint by Adolph A. Weinman and it was originally used on the obverse of the Walking Liberty Half Dollar. The design shows Liberty walking from right to left with her right hand reaching for the sun on the horizon and her left hand carrying branches of oak and laurel. The inscriptions on this side of the coin read Liberty, 2021, and the AW initials of Weinman.
Reverse
On the reverse field of the 1986-2021 Proof American Eagle Silver Coins, you will find the heraldic eagle of the United States. This image features an American bald eagle in front-facing relief with the US national shield on its chest. The eagle clutches the arrows of war in one talon and the olive branch of peace in the other talon. Inscriptions on this face of the coin include United States of America, In God We Trust, E Pluribus Unum, and 1 oz Fine Silver – One Dollar. The mint mark of the individual coins is also featured on this side and includes either an S, P, or W mint mark depending on date of issue.
History
The United States Mint is prepared to release a new reverse design for the American Eagle Silver and Gold Coins in 2021 to mark the 35th anniversary of the series. However, the designs are not ready for production to start the year and early issues will feature the original design combinations.

For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
