American Gold Eagle series right from its introduction to the public. To date, it remains one of the most popular coinage to collect from the United States Mint for many great reasons, ranging from its production design and limited mintage numbers. On the obverse field of the 1992-P Proof American Eagle 1/10 oz Gold Coin, an integral part of the Proof American Eagle Gold coins allure is featured with a portrait of Lady Liberty. The design showcases a gorgeous woman in a flowing dress walking away from the capitol in Washington D.C. She wields a large, burning torch like a sword in one hand, and an olive branch in the other. It remains one of the most symbolic and iconic designs to ever be found on American currency, which was formulated by Saint Gaudens, who continues to be an influential figure in American arts.

On the reverse field of the 1992-P Proof American Eagle 1/10 oz Gold Coin, we have a symbolic depiction of a bald eagle designed by the revered Miley Busiek. A family of bald eagles rest in a nest while the male father flies high over them towards a gleaming sun.
