The obverse side of 1993 Austrian Philharmonic Gold Coins comes with a depiction of the Great Pipe Organ. The organ is the third of its kind installed in the Musikverein and was finished in the early 1900s. The inscriptions on this side include REPUBLIK OSTERREICH, 1 UNZE GOLD 999.9, 1993, and 2000 SCHILLINGS.

Reverse

On the reverse field of the 1993 Philharmonic 1 oz Gold Coin, you will find an image of musical instruments. This design focuses on a large cello in the central foreground the design element. It is flanked on either side by violins, with a harp, a bassoon, and a horn in the background. The only inscription on this side reads WIENER PHILHARMONICKER.

History

Austrian Philharmonic Gold Coins have been available since 1989, with 1 oz and 1/4 oz gold coins available from the debut date. The 1/10 oz coin was introduced in 1991, the 1/2 oz coin in 1994, and the 1/25 oz coin in 2014.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.

Will I need to sign for my package?

For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.

What about International Orders?

Provident is only able to ship to addresses in any of the 50 US states. This includes P.O. boxes and APO addresses.
