Cryptocurrencies and traditional fiat currencies are often viewed as competing means of storing and spending wealth. When it comes to creating collectible items for monetary enthusiasts, cryptocurrencies and fiat currencies can be combined to create something unique. With proprietary design processes, mints are adding enhanced graphics to traditional Federal Reserve Notes. This is the case with the new $2 Dogecoin Legal Tender Note available at Provident Metals.
Highlights:
When you purchase these $2 Dogecoin Legal Tender Notes from Provident Metals, you receive each one inside individual packaging. The notes are packaged in bi-fold presentation folios with a Certificate of Authenticity included from the private mint. Each note is in clean, crisp, uncirculated condition and was enhanced by the private mint with high-definition, colorized graphics. These notes are legal tender $2 Federal Reserve Notes.
Obverse
The obverse of the $2 Dogecoin Legal Tender Note features an image of the Shiba Inu breed at the center of the design element. The Shiba Inu is featured not only at the center of the design element, but also on the left-hand side of the notes design field. On the right side, you will notice a background element with a smartphone screen that has a trading app open. There is a green line running across the design element that charts the growth of Dogecoin in value over the course of its existence.
Reverse
On the reverse side of $2 Dogecoin Legal Tender Notes is the traditional design found on the reverse of the $2 Federal Reserve Note. This side of the $2 note bears the same design used since 1976, a replica of John Trumbulls 1818 oil painting capturing the signing of the Declaration of Independence by the Founding Fathers.
History
Dogecoin was introduced in 2013. Its creators originally intended for the cryptocurrency to be a bit of a joke based on the Shiba Inu doge meme that was popular in early 2013. However, Dogecoin has maintained a solid following over the years and, as of 2021, has a market capitalization of $85.3 billion.
