2009 was the last year for the full slate of coins that Perth Mint offered in the Australian Kookaburra Series. The series started in 1990 with only 1 oz silver, expanding to 1 kilo, 10 oz, and 2 oz silver in 1992. In 2009, the mint issued the 2 oz coin for the final time, shrinking down to just the 1 kilo, 10 oz, and 1 oz coins.
