These near flawless 2011 Silver Eagle coins come from a limited-release, 25th Anniversary Silver Eagle Set and are now offered individually–an outstanding purchasing opportunity for collectors of rare silver coins. Each coin has been signed by the US Mints Chief Engraver John Mercanti and certified Mint State 69 by the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation as a nearly perfect specimen and given a First Strike designation! A grade of MS69 on the Sheldon Scale gives each coin the second highest score possible and insures that your coin has been preserved in its nearly flawless, mint-state. The special packaging with an attached black label clearly attests to its stunning condition and its authenticity. In addition, each coin has been struck by the U.S. Mint in one Troy ounce of fine .999 silver bullion. Traders the world over waited eagerly for the release of these special anniversary sets, and they were immediately trading for twice the asking price of the U.S. Mint. Each of these 2011 American Silver Eagle coins comes from a set with a strict release cap of 100,000 sets. In short, these NGC-certified coins are worth much more to collectors than their proverbial weight in silver. If a complete set is not for you, the opportunity to purchase a certified 2011 Silver Eagle from a limited-release, anniversary set is a rare opportunity, indeed.

In addition to their limited release status, the treasured design of the American Silver Eagle makes each coin particularly valuable. The obverse (front) of the American Eagle features a breathtaking interpretation of Adolph A. Weinman’s beloved Walking Liberty of 1916. John Mercanti, Chief Engraver of the U.S. Mint, redesigned the Walking Liberty as a confident figure striding optimistically toward the rising sun, cloaked in the glory of the American Flag. She proudly carries a large bouquet of laurel and oak branches as symbols of both civic and military pride. The reverse side showcases the heraldic eagle, universal symbol of freedom. Also sculpted by John Mercanti, his eagle is regally buttressed by an American shield at his breast as he grasps both an olive branch and arrows representing both peace and military strength. This 25th Anniversary American Silver Eagle is a wholly patriotic coin that enjoys the full faith and credit of the United States government. With its stature as a certified coin from a limited release anniversary set, it is sure to delight collectors of fine silver coins for many generations to come.
