The portrait shows Washington in left-profile relief with inscriptions around it on this side of the coin reading United States of America, Liberty, In God We Trust, and Quarter Dollar.

Reverse

Design elements on the reverse of 2011 Burnished ATB Olympic 5 oz Silver Coins capture the natural beauty of Olympic National Park. In the design element, there is a Roosevelt elk standing in the foreground near the banks of a river. In the distant background, the towering peak at Mount Olympus. The inscriptions on this side of the coin include Washington, Olympic, E Pluribus Unum, and 2011.

History

The America the Beautiful Series debuted in 2010 from the US Mint. The series offers five new designs for each date mark, with only the 2021 date mark offering just one design. The designs represent each of the 50 US states, the five overseas territories of the nation, and the District of Columbia.
