History

The Wildlife Conservation collection has images of many different animal species from around the world. All of these species are endangered, including the three animals on this group of coins: the polar bear, the penguin, and the humpback whale. The polar bear is from the North Pole, the penguin is from the South Pole, and the humpback whale is from the ocean. Each coin covers a unique habitat thats been disturbed, causing these animals to become endangered. The Wildlife Conservation coin series brings awareness to these animals that are endangered.

Obverse

The profile portrait of Queen Elizabeth II is shown on the obverse of the 2013 $5 Proof Cook Islands Wildlife Conservation Humpback Whale Prism Coin. This effigy of Her Majesty was originally designed by Raphael Maklouf and has since been used for many other coin designs and releases. The coins value and country of origin are also shown on the obverse, along with the inscription, ELIZABETH II.

Reverse

On the reverse of the 2013 $5 Proof Cook Islands Wildlife Conservation Humpback Whale Prism Coin is the colorized design of the humpback whale. Next to the adult whale, there is a baby whale that remains in greyscale and blends in with the ocean background. Two fish are seen swimming along above the adult humpback whale. Two inscriptions also appear on the reverse of the coin: WILDLIFE CONSERVATION and PROTECTING OUR NATURAL HERITAGE FOR TOMORROW.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. Can I choose the method of shipping?

All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.

Will I need to sign for my package?

For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.

What about International Orders?

Provident is only able to ship to addresses in any of the 50 US states. This includes P.O. boxes and APO addresses.
