Celebrate one of the most revered animals in North America when you purchase the Royal Canadian Mint’s 2014 BU $5 Bald Eagle. Composed of 1 troy ounce of .9999 silver, these stunning coins have a mintage of 1,000,000.

Designed by Emily Damstra, the reverse features a bald eagle in flight, carrying a fish in its talons. CANADA — along with the coin’s composition and weight — is also inscribed.

The obverse features Susanna Blunt’s portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, reigning monarch of Canada. ELIZABETH II, 5 DOLLARS and the year of mintage are inscribed.

Diversify your portfolio, while adding to your collection of Canadian coins, with a BU 1 oz Silver Bald Eagle — now available at Provident Metals.

About the Bald Eagle

The bald eagle is a bird of prey found primarily in North America. Despite its name, the bald eagle is commonly recognized for it’s striking plumage. Both male and female birds share the same white head, brown feathers and hooked beak.

The bald eagle is the epitome of North American culture — embodying the values of freedom and strength.

About the Royal Canadian Mint

Founded in 1908, the Royal Canadian Mint is one of the world’s most advanced refiners of gold and silver. The Mint rose as the first one to produce gold coins inscribed with the name CANADA, along with iconic North American images like the maple leaf and the bald eagle.

Today, RCM markets to collectors and investors alike, producing a variety of high-quality bullion coins, wafers and bars.
