Designed by Susanna Blunt in 2003, the obverse features the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. Inscriptions include Her Majesty’s name and the coin’s denomination.
Designed by Steve Hepburn, the reverse features a Snow Falcon mid-flight. The shape of a falcon’s wings allow these great birds to fly at high speeds. Unlike hawks and eagles, falcons kill prey with their beaks instead of talons. Inscriptions include the year of issue, along with the coin’s weight and purity. Additionally, you’ll notice the RCM’s anti-counterfeiting feature–a maple leaf-shaped privy mark with a micro-engraved year of issue inside.
The Silver Snow Falcon is the fourth release in a series of RCM 1.5 oz silver coins featuring wildlife of the Canadian arctic. It follows designs featuring an arctic fox, a polar bear, and a polar bear with a cub. The coins have the same diameter as standard issue RCM silver coins, but they are 50 percent thicker to accommodate the extra metal content.
Founded in 1908, the Royal Canadian Mint originally processed precious metals discovered in the Yukon Territories. The nation’s own minting capacity was the first step toward Canadian independence.
Individual Silver Snow Falcon coins ship in plastic flips. Multiples of 15 ship in plastic tubes and multiples of 300 ship in a monster box.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All products are discreetly packaged and shipped with full insurance included.
Most Provident orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
Provident is only able to ship to addresses in any of the 50 US states. This includes P.O. boxes and APO addresses.

These are really a nice coin in-hand. Silver dollar diameter but thicker. Royal Canadian Mint .9999 silver for a comparatively low premium. The odd weight makes that so.
