Like most of the Royal Canadian Mint’s coins, the obverse of the Silver Superman coin features a profile view of Queen Elizabeth II. You’ll also find inscriptions of “ELIZABETH II,” “5 DOLLARS,” and “2016.”
Superman’s signature “S” shield is the focal point of the reverse, flanked by inscriptions of the coin’s purity. Radial lines and micro-engraving within the maple leaf-shaped privy mark are added for security and authentication. The premium frosting gives the reverse a unique and aesthetically pleasing finish.
The Royal Canadian Mint produces all of Canada’s circulation coins, precious metal bullion coins, and various medallions. One notable feature on RCM coins, including the popular Silver Maple, is the micro-inscribed radial lines on the field of both sides. These lines create a unique light diffracting pattern when held to the light, adding another measure of security. This falls under the mint’s proprietary bullion DNA technology.
Single Superman coins ship in a plastic flip. Quantities of 25 ship in mint-issued and sealed plastic tubes. Quantities of 500 ship in a specially designed monster box with the famed Kryptonian on the label.

Most Provident orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
Provident is only able to ship to addresses in any of the 50 US states. This includes P.O. boxes and APO addresses.

I love the Superman logo, who doesn’t? The radial lines on both sides of the coin are a nice touch along with the security Maple Leaves.
The Queens bust is very polished for a nice contrast with the fields and no visible scratches worth mentioning. Of course the rims are not perfect as a necessary result of being stacked upon one another leaving scratch marks,, dings and misshapen on both sides of all coins but that is to be expected during shipping.
I would like to get 20, bought 5 this time, the premium is higher but a nice unique item worth the extra couple dollars over spot than the silver American Eagles. Highly recommend the Superman coins.

I’ve always been a big fan of the Canadian Silver Maple round, but after receiving the Superman S-Shield, I think that I’ve found my new favorite.
