Since the Lunar Series I coins were so popular, the Perth Mint decided to increase the options available in the Lunar Series II coins. While there are still the ever-common gold and silver bullion versions of these beautiful coins, you can also find proof versions and limited-edition colorized proof coins struck in each new version of the coins in the lunar series.
Obverse
On the obverse of each coin, you will see the image of Queen Elizabeth II as created by Ian Rank-Broadley. While the reverse image features color, the obverse side of the coin is left alone.
Reverse
The reverse image is that of a monkey in full color. The monkey sits on the branch of a tree and stares at a peach dangling from a higher branch. While the background of the coin is gold, the monkey is shown in natural hues to add a contract between the gold background. The silver version of this coin features a completely different monkey design.
History
The Perth Mint is the oldest operating minting facility in the country of Australia. It was founded in 1898 as the final of three British Royal Mint facilities in the country.

All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
