The obverse of this one ounce silver round depicts the Kraken, an enormous mythological creature in the shape of a squid or octopus, attacking a pirate ship. The Kraken’s head appears above the water, one tentacle is lifted in the air, while another holds the pirates’ treasure, ready to carry it to the depths of the ocean. “2016” is inscribed on the obverse.
The common reverse of the Silverbugs Kraken depicts many spoiled pirate ships in a thrashing sea around an island of coins. “WELCOME TO SILVERBUG ISLAND”, and “1 TROY OZ .999 FINE SILVER” are inscribed.
The Silverbug Kraken is the second of eight designs in the Welcome to Silverbugs island series, which will illustrate the difficulties pirates face while hunting for treasure. The popular Silverbugs subreddit designed this and other Silverbugs rounds.

A beautiful silver round, I couldn't pass up the chance to snag at least one of these. I liked that it came already in a capsule, so I didn't have to buy one separately for once! Definitely worth getting.
